ANSWERS TO PRAYER
September 29th, 2009 MEXICO (Guarijio tribe)
A check of the first 15 chapters of Acts in the Guarijio language went very well. The book of Acts will be the first book of the Bible translated into the Guarijio language. Terry Reed's translation co-worker, Vicente, is a Guarijio man who is fluent in Spanish and has been a tremendous help with the work. Pray for Terry and Vicente as they continue to work through Acts.
Tatak and his mother were finally able to return to their village after weeks in the city so Tatak could get medical care. Pray that the family and other Palawanos will see God's love in this experience, even before they have heard about it.
God keeps providing right on time for missionaries\' work among the Pal people. Pray that the energy and joy generated by this encouragement will be clear to the Pals and draw them to Christ.
When praying today about a Philippine translation that has taken 20 years and is now in the printing stage, God reminded me that I may not have had a part in that particular translation, but I do pray for translators, additional laborers, hurting workers, difficult bureaucracy situations, technical/ mechanical difficulties, indifferent hearts, and those who support. My role is just as vital as those on the field.
